ATLANTA – Fifteenth-ranked NC State women’s basketball (16-5, 6-4 ACC) is set to make the trip to Atlanta on Thursday night to take on Georgia Tech (11-10, 2-8 ACC).

Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. on the ACC Network, and Andrew Sanders and Ernie Myers will have the radio call on WKNC 88.1 FM in Raleigh and on the Varsity Network app.

A WIN ON THURSDAY WOULD

• Be the 1,015th win in program history (1,014-483)

• Be head coach Wes Moore‘s 797th career win (796-243)

• Be Moore’s 239th win at NC State (238-74)

• Extend the Pack’s winning streak over Georgia Tech to five games

• Mark NC State’s fourth ACC victory in a row in a streak that started on Jan. 19

• Be the 50th conference win for the Wolfpack since the start of 2019-20, marking the most in any four-year period in program history

NOTING THE WOLFPACK (16-5, 6-4 ACC)

• NC State moved up five spots to check in at No. 15 in Monday’s release of the AP Top 25. Prior to that, the Wolfpack had spent back-to-back weeks at No. 20, which marked its first time being outside the Top 15 since the start of the 2018-19 campaign.

• NC State is ranked tied for seventh in the ACC following Sunday’s games. The Wolfpack has the tiebreaker over Miami.

• NC State has defeated a pair of ranked opponents in No. 10 Iowa and No. 7 Notre Dame. The Pack is now an even 2-2 in games played against ranked teams this season.

• The Wolfpack ranks in the top 30 nationally in fewest fouls per game (7th – 12.9), blocks per game (25th – 4.8), field-goal percentage (29th – .452) and rebounds per game (30th – 41.4).

• Diamond Johnson is the only Wolfpack player averaging double figures in scoring with her mark of 13.2 points per game.

• NC State has five players averaging 8.7+ points per game and seven players averaging 7+ points per game.

River Baldwin and Jada Boyd each average 4.9 rebounds per game to lead a group of seven Wolfpack players who are averaging 4+ rebounds per game this year.

• Johnson has a team-best three-point shooting percentage of .412 to rank 34th nationally.

• Johnson (12.3), Saniya Rivers (9.7), Camille Hobby (8.5) and Mimi Collins (8.4) have scored 10+ points in at least four ACC games this season. Collins leads the squad with six double-figure scoring performances against league…
