CLEVELAND, Ohio – On Wednesday the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) announced the women’s basketball All-Conference teams. Kenyon College guard Katie Orefice landed on the conference’s Second-Team.
Orefice played in all 26 games for the Ladies this season, starting 25 of those contests. The Weston, Connecticut native finished the season as the NCAC’s leader in points per game (16.4). Orefice finished in the top-10 in multiple conference categories including free throw percentage, average minutes played, and total points scored.
Orefice finished with double-digit scoring in all but two of the Ladies’ games this season including eight 20 or more point games. On Dec. 30, Orefice set new career-highs in points and rebounds against Mount. St. Joseph, scoring 29 and pulling in 16 rebounds. During the season, the junior averaged 14.2 points,…
