The Portland Trail Blazers’ road trip will continue as they head to TD Garden at 7:30 p.m. ET Friday to face off against the Boston Celtics. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’
On Wednesday, Portland lost to the Miami Heat on the road by a decisive 104-92 margin. Despite the defeat, the Trail Blazers had strong showings from shooting guard Anfernee Simons, who shot 6-for-14 from downtown and finished with 27 points and seven assists, and center Jusuf Nurkic, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Nurkic has had at least 14 rebounds.
