Aberdeen, SD – The Presentation College Saints won 60-58 over the Dakota State Trojans. The win improves the Saints record to 10-13 on the season, and 3-7 in conference play. The Trojans fall to 11-14 and 6-4.
The Saints got off to a slow start, trailing the Trojans 13-3 after six minutes of play. The Trojans would hold their largest lead, 11 points, when they went ahead 20-9 with 11 minutes left in the half. But the Saints would end the half on a 19-9 run to close the gap to just a single point, trailing 29-28 heading into the half.
The second half started with the Saints grabbing the lead on a Maximo Guillermo layup. After that, Lavell Brown would score the next 13 points for the Saints, all over two minutes of play.
