How to watch Gators at Kentucky Wildcats Saturday

Betting odds for Gators at Kentucky Wildcats

Florida basketball returns to the road on Saturday, Feb. 4, to face the Kentucky Wildcats inside Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, as the Gators look to build on their upset win over the No. 2 Tennessee Volunteers last time out, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

Todd Golden’s squad enters the Southeastern Conference matchup with a 13-9 record overall along with a 6-3 mark in SEC while sitting voteless outside of the major polls

. Florida is currently ranked No. 41 in the NET rankings, No. 34 in ESPN’s Basketball Power Index and No. 38 in the Pomeroy Collegiate Basketball Ratings.

John Calipari’s gang brings a 15-7 record overall into Saturday’s tangle along with a 6-3 tally in SEC matchups. The Wildcats are also excluded from both of the poll votes and currently ranked No. 31 in the NET, No. 22 in BPI and No. 34 in KenPom.

Kentucky holds an overwhelming lead in the all-time series, having put together a 106-41 record that dates back to 1927 when it beat Florida, 44-36, in Lexington. The Wildcats’ longest winning streak reached 16 games from 1942 to 1964 while the Gators’ longest stretch of success lasted seven games from 2005 to 2008. The ‘Cats have won seven of the last eight meetings.

I was way off base with my previous prediction for the Vols game, calling for an 18-point victory for Tennessee based on Florida’s tendency toward slow starts along with UT’s juggernaut defense. The Gators match up much better with this Kentucky squad though Oscar Tshiebwe is sure to cause problems down low. If the Orange and Blue can come out firing on all cylinders like on Wednesday, there is a good chance Todd Golden’s gang prevails. Will it happen? I am willing to say “yes” this time around.

Florida 71, Kentucky 69
