Lonzo Ball Likely Out For Remainder Of Season

Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball has suffered another setback in his return from knee surgery. Ball again experienced soreness as he ramped up his rehab. While a final decision has not been made, it’s expected that Ball will miss the remainder of the season.

Ball’s last appearance for Chicago was on January 14. Shortly after that game, Ball to repair a slight meniscus tear in his left knee. Ball has also been dealing with a bone bruise in that knee.

At the end of March, Ball was shut down, as he suffered soreness when ramping up the rehab process. As Ball began another ramp up this week, the soreness was still persistent.

Ball’s season will likely end after a career-low 35 games played. In his first season of a four-year deal with the Bulls, Ball averaged 13 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.8 steals, while hitting a career-best 42.3% of this three-pointers.
