The Kings have lost nine of their last 11 games as their chances of competing in the playoffs are slim.

However, De’Aaron Fox has been lighting it up for Sacramento and has not shown any signs of quitting anytime soon.

Fox exploded on Saturday night vs. the Utah Jazz on a 41-point double-double performance, dishing out 11 assists.

He is averaging 29.1 points on 51 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent shooting from deep since the Kings traded Tyrese Haliburton to Indiana.

“Obviously, he’s the cornerstone of our franchise,” Alvin Gentry told reporters after the game. “So, to see him step up like he has, and then to show leadership like he has, and then understand that he’s still a very, very young player.
