WESTWOOD, Mass. – Senior guard Dashelle Gleissner (Los Angeles, Calif./Serra) earned the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Defensive Player of the Year Award and head coach Lynn Hersey was tabbed as the Coach of the Year when the league announced its postseason awards on Wednesday.
Joining Gleissner on the All-NEWMAC first team was senior forward Katelyn Pickunka (Westhampton, Mass./Hampshire), while Morgan Morrison (Detroit, Mich./Detroit Country Day) was named to the second team.
