SAN MATEO, Calif.. – For the third straight season, Portland Pilots forward Alex Fowler has been named to the All-WCC First Team. Guard Haylee Andrews was also named to the All-WCC Second Team and Lucy Cochrane earned All-WCC Honorable Mention.
Fowler becomes just the third Pilot to be named to the All-WCC First Team three times in her career. She is the first since Laiken Dollente did so in 2010 and the first since Kristin Hepton in 1999 to do so in three consecutive years. Fowler averaged an impressive 17.6 points per game on 55.9% shooting and also averaged 7.8 rebounds per contest. Her scoring and rebounding averages both ranked fourth in the WCC while her field-goal percentage was first.
The Townsville, Australia native also made significant movement up the career charts for the Pilots. Fowler became just the sixth Pilot to ever score 1,500 points…
