CARLISLE, Pa. – Starters Jennifer Kremp, Mia Kolb, and Kate Montgomery accounted for 35 of Dickinson’s 62 points as the Red Devils earned their first Centennial Conference win of the season downing the visiting McDaniel College Green Terror by a score of 62-51 on Tuesday night at the Kline Center.
The game began extremely slow for both sides as layups by Ellie Connelly and Kolb were the only points for the first 4:18. A three by Kaite Klein made it 5-2 visitors before Caitlin Blackman, Lindsey Hollenshead, Kremp, and Montgomery all scored during an 8-0 home run to grab a 10-5 edge with six minutes gone. Meggie Burgess and Klein pulled McDaniel within one, but buckets from Clair Marion and Blackman made it 14-11. However, the Green Terror netted the final four points to grab a 15-14 lead after one.
