It’s not as popular as the NFL combine, but the NBA is trying to make their version more popular as a portion of their predraft process will be nationally televised.
Oregon Ducks all-conference center N’Faly Dante will be one of 78 participants who will travel to Chicago this week with hopes of improving his stock ahead of the 2024 NBA Draft, which is in June. Oregon fans have seen the best of Dante, a center that can be as dominant as ever. Unfortunately, his history of injuries will be a concern for most NBA teams and Dante may need a team to take a chance.
His ceiling is through the roof, proverbially, and Dante was really good this past season, which will only help his chances of being drafted. Of course, there is still some uncertainty about his future, with reports that Dante is appealing for another year of eligibility from the NCAA.
