Ace Bailey & Dylan Harper are in the ESPN 100

Future Rutgers guard Dylan Harper wins Co-MVP of the McDonald’s game

Two Rutgers basketball cracked the top five in the final update to the ESPN 100.

The presence of Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper give Rutgers basketball the only program with two commits in the top 10 of the ESPN 100.

Bailey, a five-star forward, is second in the nation behind Duke commit Cooper Flagg in the ESPN 100. Harper[/autotag]r, a five-star guard, checks in at fourth in the nation.

On Sunday, Harper was the co-MVP of the Jordan Brand Classic following a dominant performance in the all-star game.

Center Lathan Sommerville, a four-star recruit,, did not crack the ESPN 100 but remains a four-star following a very strong senior season.

Liam McNeeley, the ninth-best player in this class, is the only uncommitted player in the top 10.

 

The class of 2024 is being counted on to get Rutgers basketball back into the NCAA Tournament. Nationally, the class is ranked third in the 247 Sports Composite.

Four of the five members of the class are ranked top 150 nationally according to 247Sports.
