Eric Musselman lands battle-tested Boise State transfer Chibuzo Agbo

Transfer portal for USC basketball continues to flow out, not in

The USC Trojans and coach Eric Musselman continue to fill out their roster for the 2024-2025 season, the program’s first in the Big Ten Conference. Boise State wing Chibuzo Agbo has committed to USC in the transfer portal, marking the third player to join USC on Monday.

Bowling Green transfer Rashaun Agee joined the Trojans earlier on Monday. Then top-50 recruit Isaiah Elohim, a Sierra Canyon product who originally committed to Musselman when he was at Arkansas, decided to follow the Muss Bus to USC. The Trojans and Musselman are filling out roster spots, and they still have several vacancies left. The roster as is needs some more dynamic players, but that’s where the added slots can provide the extra boost needed to make the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

Agbo was part of an NCAA Tournament team at Boise State this past season. He averaged almost 14 points and collected five rebounds per game. He is a decent 3-point shooter, something Trojan fans hope to see from him on the hardwood this coming fall and winter. The Mountain West was a good, tough, competitive conference in college basketball. Agbo faced quality competition, which will hopefully translate to this coming season at USC.
