CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Sonia Citron, Anna DeWolfe and Nat Marshall proved they are getting things done on the court and in the classroom on Thursday, as the three Irish women’s basketball players were named to the 2024 All-ACC Academic Team.

In order to earn the honor, student-athletes must participate in at least half of their team’s games during the season and must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average for their career as well as a minimum 3.0 grade point average during the most recently completed semester or quarter. If they are graduate students, they must have an undergraduate career minimum grade point average of 3.0 as well.

Citron, a junior majoring in management consulting, made the cut for the third consecutive year. Despite missing nine games with a knee sprain, the guard averaged 17.3 points per game and broke the Notre Dame single-season free throw percentage record (91.2 percent). She was named to the All-ACC Second Team and the All-ACC Tournament First Team.

After a successful undergraduate career at Fordham, DeWolfe joined the Irish for her final season of eligibility while earning a graduate degree in marketing. A 3-point shooter who landed 45 treys this season, DeWolfe provided invaluable leadership and made an impact in many ways that did not necessarily show up in the box score. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, DeWolfe was a four-time member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

An American studies and political science major, Marshall had her best year on the court for the Irish this season and was named to the All-ACC Academic Team for a second consecutive year. She averaged 5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 20.2 minutes per game with 34 blocks and 14 steals.
