How Big Ten ranks in 2024 U.S. News & Word Report college rankings

When it comes to the Big Ten, there is more than just football and basketball that these schools pride themselves on. Sure, having a few college football powers and basketball national title contenders has been pretty nice (especially in the past year) but the Big Ten likes to point out how well their members rank in the academic rankings as well. With four new members to join the conference this year, the academic standard remains high in the new-look Big Ten once Oregon, UCLA, USC, and Washington join the conference this summer.

The annual college and university rankings released by U.S. News World & Report continue to be the gold standard for academic rankings at the university level, and this year’s updated look at the rankings shows the Big Ten remains a conference standing tall on the academic side of things. Below is a look at how each Big Ten member, including the four incoming members, ranked in this year’s U.S. News & World Report.
