Fans are buzzing over idea of Bronny James transferring to Alabama

Rising sophomore USC Trojans basketball guard Bronny James has a tough decision to make in the near future, according to his dad, LeBron James. Recent rumors have surfaced that he could enter the transfer portal, but he has yet to publicly announce his intent to do so. There was also strong belief that he’d look to enter the 2024 NBA draft. Some Alabama Crimson Tide basketball fans have already expressed interest in having Oats bring him on board if he does end up transferring.

Appearing in 25 games throughout the 2023-2024 season, Bronny averaged nearly 20 minutes per game, shot an underwhelming 36.6% from the field, 26.7% from three, 2.1 assists per game and 2.8 rebounds per game.

While his numbers may not seem impressive, the circumstances are important to keep in mind. This past season, the USC team did not come close to meeting expectations, finishing with a 15-18 overall record and an in-conference record of 8-12. It also doesn’t help that head coach Andy Enfield left the Trojans for the SMU job.

Currently, there aren’t any rumors or reports on possible destinations for Bronny if he does decide to enter the transfer portal. However, that has not stopped some fans from speaking out on their desire to have him end up in Tuscaloosa.
