CU women’s basketball back in position to host NCAA Tournament games

After Colorado’s double-overtime loss to Oregon State in the Pac-12 Tournament, it appeared that the Buffs had, with its late-season slide, played their way out of hosting the first two rounds of the NCAA women’s basketball Tournament.

Brian Howell of BuffZone noted that since then, everything has broken Colorado’s way with three projected No. 4 seeds (Gonzaga, Oklahoma and Indiana) dropping games to unranked opponents. The complete 68-team NCAA Tournament field will be announced Sunday.
