Was the Boston Celtics‘ recent crunch-time road loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers symbolic of bigger issues that continue to afflict this ball club? Or was it just a blip in an otherwise elite season in terms of racking up wins?

For many fans of the team and NBA analysts, the issues was not that the Celtics lost a game to a comparatively good Cavs squad. Instead, it was how Boston lost the game, taking their foot off the gas in the game’s second half and letting Cleveland chip away at the lead in the tilt’s final frame that had echoes of bigger failures baked into it.
