Badgers no longer a top-4 seed in the Big Ten

How to watch game vs Michigan Wolverines

The Wisconsin Badgers fell 74-70 at Indiana on Tuesday night, dropping to 18-10 on the season and 10-7 in Big Ten play.

The loss caps off a forgettable February for Greg Gard’s team. It went 2-6 during the month, including inexplicable losses at last-place Michigan and struggling Indiana. The Badgers were also 0-5 on the road, mixing in a lifeless loss at Rutgers with deflating last-second losses to Iowa and Nebraska.

To say the team lacks momentum entering March would be an understatement.

But how far, specifically, have the Badgers fallen? The team led the Big Ten entering February. It would now be the five-seed in the Big Ten Tournament if it started today, and would no longer be one of the double-bye teams.

Wisconsin is still a lock to make the NCAA Tournament. But it needs to find form over the last three regular-season games or it’s in danger of falling further in the Big Ten and NCAA Tournament brackets.
