The Boston Celtics are about to take on the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets at TD Garden on Friday night in what very well could be a preview of the 2024 NBA Finals. How will the Celtics hold up in this midseason clash of titans?
The Nuggets started the league’s 2023-24 season a bit slow, but they have since played their way up to the Western Conference’s No. 3 position behind the upstart Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder. They have won six of their last 10 games as their momentum builds. At the same time, the East’s Celtics find themselves atop the standings with a four-game lead over the second-place Milwaukee Bucks.
