WATCH: Caitlin Clark beats the buzzer to down Michigan State

Paige Bueckers feels 'grateful' and says she'll play college basketball again

Michigan State and Iowa ended the third quarter of their January 2 contest tied up, and it appeared that they’d end the fourth in the same fashion, 73-73. That was, until Hannah Stuelke lobbed Caitlin Clark the ball — the nation’s most prolific three-point shooter — with just one second left on the clock.

Stepping to the base of the Hawkeye logo, Clark launched the ball at the buzzer to net her 76th triple of the year.

Clark finished the game with an impressive stat line; she scored 40 points — accounting for more than half of Iowa’s total points (76) — while also recording five assists and three steals. She continues to hold the top spot in the NCAA in field goals made (163) and 3-pointers per game (5.07).

After narrowly surviving Michigan State, Iowa improves to 14-1 overall and leads the Big Ten with a 3-0 conference record.
