DEFENSE DEFEATS MINERS

UO defeated UTEP 71-49 on 12/9, the fifth time since 2020 the Ducks have held an opponent to 50 or fewer points.

» The Ducks outscored the Miners 43-24 in the second half, forcing 18 turnovers on the night, resulting in a season-best 29 points off turnovers.

» Both Kwame Evans Jr. and Jermaine Couisnard recorded career highs of five steals, with Couisnard adding 18 points.

 

THRILLING OT WIN OVER MICHIGAN

The Ducks defeated Michigan 86-83 in overtime on 12/2.

» Jackson Shelstad drilled a go-ahead three with less than 2 seconds to play in his first game at Matthew Knight. He finished with 14 points, one assist and one block that was a pivotal moment in the game.

» Brennan Rigsby notched a team-high 19 points (8-12 FG), netting all three of his three-point attempts.

» Each of the last two games against the Wolverines have gone to overtime, Oregon winning both. The last three contests have been decided by three points or less.

 

EFFICIENT TENNESSEE STATE WIN

UO defeated TSU 92-67 on 11/17, shooting 53.0% from the field, 45.0% from 3PT range and 72.2% from the line.

» The Ducks outscored the Tigers 50-34 in the paint, forcing 15 turnovers that resulted in 27 points off turnovers.
