Andrew Wiggins questionable for Game 6 vs. Lakers

With the season on the line, the Golden State Warriors will face the Los Angeles Lakers in a win-or-go-home Game 6 in Hollywood on Friday night.

Alongside Steph Curry, the Warriors will need all the help they can get to get their first road win of the series against the Lakers to keep their season alive and force a Game 7. However, a key piece in Steve Kerr’s starting lineup has landed on the injury report before Game 6.

On Thursday, Andrew Wiggins appeared on the injury report with a left costal cartilage fracture. The former All-Star forward is now listed as questionable for Game 6 against the Lakers in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Wiggins is coming off one of his best performances of the 2023 postseason, scoring 25 points on 10-of-18 shooting with seven rebounds and five assists in 36 minutes.

During the 2023 playoffs, Wiggins is averaging 17.6 points on 46.8% shooting from the field with 5.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 34.5 minutes per game.

The Warriors will travel to meet the Lakers at Crypto.com Center on Friday night at 7 p.m. PT.
