One of the top names in the transfer portal made their commitment on Wednesday. Gonzaga transfer Hunter Sallis picked Wake Forrest over Nebraska and a host of other schools.
The sophomore from Omaha, Nebraska, averaged 4.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game on 46.6% in 37 games this season. Sallis was a 5-star recruit from Millard North High School.
Brian Snow, a national recruiting analyst for 247Sports, described Sallis as a big guard with the ability to play on or off the ball.
