Saturday Broadcast and Watch Party Information for CNU Women's Basketball Fans


DALLAS, Texas — As the top-ranked Christopher Newport women’s basketball teams continues its preparation for the NCAA Division III National Championship this Saturday, April 1, broadcast information and watch party details have been revealed for fans unable to make the trip to Texas.

The game will be a historical showcase as the undefeated Captains, with an overall record of 31-0, will take on second-ranked Transylvania University, also undefeated with an overall record of 32-0. It marks the first time in history that the No. 1 and No. 2 teams matchup with unblemished records for the national title. 

Tip-off time is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. (ET) and the game can be found broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.

Fans can watch or listen to the games in a variety of ways and help cheer on the Captains to victory with the following options:

1.  ON CAMPUS: STUDENT WATCH PARTY, 12 p.m.  DSU Ballroom

Fans in Texas are encouraged to greeting the team on the championship “red carpet” at 9:00 a.m. (CT) before the game. Head to the PNC Plaza in front of the American Airlines Center to join the Party on the Plaza and welcome the Captains to the arena before the game.
