The Arkansas Razorbacks are moments away from starting their bid for a potential upset of a No. 1 seed for a second straight season. This time, they’ll be tasked with trying to stop the high-powered attack of the Kansas Jayhawks.
Arkansas will be startingAnthony Black, Ricky Council, Nick Smith Jr., Devo Davis and Kamani Johnson – the same starting lineup that we saw against Illinois back on Thursday afternoon. Kansas will be without their head coach Bill Self, who is still recovering from a medical procedure from last week.
This is the 14th meeting between the two schools all-time, and the Jayhawks hold an 8-5 advantage over the Razorbacks. With a win, the Razorbacks would advance to a third consecutive Sweet 16 for the first time since 1996.
Arkansas fans are cautiously optimistic ahead of today’s matchup with the Jayhawks. Here’s what they’re saying on social media ahead of tonight’s important second round contest.
