The struggles and frustrations continue.
The North Carolina Tar Heels didn’t help their NCAA Tournament cause on Sunday, failing to get another Quad 1 win as they are now 0-10 on the year in those games. And they lost to an NC State team that got some revenge from a loss in January in Chapel Hill.
After a back-and-forth first half, UNC took a six-point lead with under 10 minutes to play. But like we’ve seen too many times before, the Tar Heels got sloppy and turned the ball over on back-to-back possessions, leading to a 7-0 NC State run.
The Wolfpack then put the nail in the coffin with another run late to seal the deal at a packed PNC Arena.
I wish we had better news but right now, North Carolina isn’t making the tournament barring a miracle and it will be the most disappointing season in a long time for the program.
