Florida was in the game against Arkansas for about 10 minutes Saturday. Maybe 20.
But after halftime, the Razorbacks had Bud Walton Arena rocking en route to a 84-65 win over the Gators.
Arkansas’ victory kept alive the Hogs’ hopes for an NCAA Tournament and also showed just how dangerous the team can be when playing on cylinders.
With several former Hogs basketball players in attendance, Arkansas put on a show. The Razorbacks started the second half on a 17-2 run to take total control. At one point in the second half, they led by as many as 25 points.
Jalen Graham led the team with 26 points. Makhi Mitchell had a double-double, notching 10 points and 10 rebounds. Ricky Council (15), Anthony Black (14) and Nick Smith Jr. (10) also scored in double figures.
