Aggie Basketball: How to watch: Texas A&M vs. Missouri

Texas A&M (19-7, 11-2 SEC) has a date with the Missouri Tigers inside Mizzou Arena on Saturday afternoon, the first of three upcoming road trips to finish off the regular season for the maroon and white. The Aggies defeated Missouri 82-64 at home on Jan. 11th during the start of what has been a magical 11-win journey in SEC play since, while looking to sweep their third conference opponent joining Florida, Auburn, and LSU.

On Friday, ESPN Bracketologist Joe Lunardi released his updated bracket, where the Aggies have been projected as a 9-seed after defeating Arkansas 62-56 on Tuesday, with the chance to continue bolstering their tournament resume with four Quad 1 matchups remaining on the schedule.

In what was a defensive clash against the Razorbacks on Tuesday night, Texas A&M only shot 35% on the night but went 18-22 (81%) from the free throw line, combined with Wade Taylor IV making play after play in his 16 point second half performance, scoring 18 on the night, including 3-5 from 3-point territory. Dexter Dennis recorded his third double-double of the season with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Tyrece “Boots” Radford scored an efficient 12 points and went 4-5 from the free throw line.

Statistically, Sophomore guard Wade Taylor IV leads the Aggies in points (15.3 ppg), assists (4.1), and steals (1.7). Missouri’s senior guard Kobe Brown is the leader in points (16.1) and rebounds (6.0), and senior guard D’Moi Hodge is second in command with 13.8 ppg and leads the team in steals (2.4) and blocks (0.5). At Mizzou Arena this season, the Tigers are 14-2, with their only losses coming at the hands of Kansas, and Alabama.
