Only fans of the Boston Celtics who are too young to remember that 2008 NBA champion Ray Allen‘s career in film may not be aware that he has game. But the former UConn standout also has a love for the game — and one that started early in his life, at that.

The South Carolina native shared how he fell in love with the game of basketball in an interview with Celtics title teammate James Posey on the latter’s “Posecast” pod. The duo also chat about their time together with the Celtics, Allen’s time with the Huskies, his first shoe deal, and more.
