MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men’s basketball team is back at the Kohl Center for a game Sunday evening hosting Northwestern for the second meeting between the two schools this season. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. CT and a limited number of tickets are available.

Before the Badgers tip, here is the Starting Five:

1. LAST TIME OUT: Wisconsin earned a key road win over Ohio State on Thursday night, leaving Columbus with a 65-60 victory. Connor Essegian scored 17 points to lead four players in double-figure for the Badgers. Chucky Hepburn added 15 points, Steven Crowl scored 14 points, and Max Klesmit scored 12 points.

2. SHARP SHOOTERS: UW shot 41.8 percent (23-for-55) from the floor during its matchup against the Buckeyes, including an impressive first-half showing shooting 51.6 percent. In the first half alone, Essegian went 4-for-6 from the floor, scoring 14 of his 17 points, while Crowl was 5-for-6, scoring 11 points.

3. TAKING CARE OF THE BALL: The Badgers rank second in the NCAA this season averaging 8.9 turnovers per game. UW turned it over only eight times on Thursday, compared to the Buckeyes turning the ball over 16 times. The Badgers led the nation last season averaging only 8.7 turnovers per contest.

4. NAIL BITERS: After eding out a 65-60 win at Ohio State, the Badgers have now played 12 games this season decided by five points or less (including three overtime games), holding an 8-4 record in those contests. UW is now 20-7 in games decided by five or fewer points over the last two seasons.

5. REMATCH REVENGE: Sunday marks the second meeting this season between Wisconsin and Northwestern after the Badgers fell, 66-63, in Evanston. In this season’s first meeting, Jordan Davis scored a career-high 15 points and six rebounds, while Hepburn scored 12 points and tallied five assists. Max Klesmit did not play in that first matchup due to injury.
