Stellar Performances Help Ospreys In Rout Over Trinity Baptist, 112-38

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida women’s basketball (3-5) showed out with numerous exceptional performances, as all nine players matched or surpassed season-high marks in either points, rebounds or assists, against Trinity Baptist (3-7), 112-38, on Friday evening at UNF Arena.

During their final home non-conference game of the season, as well as the last home game of the 2022 calendar year, the Ospreys broke the century mark in scoring for the first time on the season. It was the first time that the Ospreys have scored more than 100 points since playing against the Eagles last year.

On the night she was honored for 1,000 collegiate career points, Lyric Swann dropped a season-high mark of 27 points to go along with seven rebounds, five assists and four steals. The redshirt junior was the team’s leading scorer for a seventh time this year, while also recording a score in her 40th consecutive collegiate game.

Jaelyn Swann recorded the first double-double of her career with a season-high 18 points and a career-high 10 rebounds. She joined forces with her sister to combine for 45 points, 17 rebounds, eight assists and six steals on the night.
