The Villanova Wildcats are looking to break out of their funk when they host the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday in the 2022 Big East-Big 12 Battle. The Wildcats (2-5) are trying to find their footing after the retirement of coach Jay Wright, who led them to two national titles and last year’s Final Four. They are on a four-game losing streak, their most recent a 74-67 setback to Oregon at the Phil Knight Invitational last Sunday. Meanwhile, the Sooners (6-1) have won six in a row. They handed Ole Miss its first loss last Sunday, beating the Rebels 59-55 at the ESPN Events Invitational. OU will finally have a chance to avenge a 95-51 loss to the Wildcats in the 2016 Final Four as Villanova went on to its second championship. The only other meeting between the teams came earlier that season, a 78-55 Sooners victory.

Tip-off at the Wells Fargo Center is set for 12:30 p.m. ET. Caesars Sportsbook lists the Wildcats as 3-point favorites in the latest Oklahoma vs. Villanova odds, and the over/under for total points scored is 125.5.
