PJ Tucker now questionable for Sixers vs. Hawks due to hip contusion

The Philadelphia 76ers take on the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night from the State Farm Center as they look to build off their home win on Monday against the Phoenix Suns.

The Sixers had Joel Embiid return from the flu on Monday, and he poured in 33 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. It was a performance Philadelphia desperately needed.

The Sixers will be without James Harden again as he continues to recover from a right tendon strain in his right foot. Now, they might be without PJ Tucker, who was listed as questionable with a left hip contusion.

In his first 11 games as a Sixer, Tucker is averaging 5.7 points and 4.6 rebounds while playing a variety of roles. He’s also shooting 56.8% from the floor and 45.5% from deep on two attempts per game. If Tucker can’t go, the Sixers will need to rely on Georges Niang to give the team a big boost.
