The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Saturday that they have recalled rookie forward Jaylin Williams from the G League’s Oklahoma City Blue.
Williams was assigned to the Blue on Thursday and played in their season opener on Friday against the G League Ignite, where he finished with eight points and 11 rebounds in a 134-125 win.
Considering the Blue played in Las Vegas and the Thunder are currently in Milwaukee to play the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, it’s unknown if Williams will be activated for the game on time.
Williams has appeared in one game so far in his rookie season after going 34th overall in the second round of the 2022 NBA draft.
