It seems that there will be no surprises on the Lakers starting lineup as far as the team’s three superstars – LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook – are concerned. However, the other two players that will likely be starting are new faces.
According Zach Lowe, based on information that he is getting from his sources, Kendrick Nunn is likely to start. The 27-year-old guard missed the whole 2021-2022 NBA season due to an injury. He is yet to play a single official game for the Purple & Gold.
At the center position the favorite to start is Damian Jones. He played 8 games for the Lakers in 2021, starting in 6 of those games.
