Son of NBA legend sets official visit to Oregon

Dana Altman might be at it again.

Just a couple of weeks after the Oregon Ducks seemingly stormed to the front of the line in the recruitment of Bronny James, a 4-star prospect from California who is the son of NBA legend LeBron James, it appears that Altman is after another NBA prodigy as well.

Andrej Stojakovic, a 4-star player from California and the son of former NBA sharpshooter Peja Stojakovic, of Sacramento Kings fame, has named the Ducks in his top-6 and will be taking an official visit to Eugene. Stojakovic will come see the campus from September 16-18, according to On3’s Joe Tipton.

Rated as the No. 17 player in 2023, Stojakovic would be a huge addition to Oregon’s class that already includes 5-star Mookie Cook, 5-star Kwame Evans, and 4-star Jackson Shelstad, ranking 6th in the nation. As we mentioned earlier, the Ducks are in the mix to land Bronny James, and getting Stojakovic also in the mix would move Oregon up to the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation.

It’s way too early to start penciling that in, but it’s clear that the Ducks are hot on the recruiting trail, and big things could be coming to Eugene.
