Game Canceled Due To Leaks In Roof At The One Ball Facility

NOISY-le-GRAND, FRANCE – The California men’s basketball team’s foreign tour game against the Chinese National Team was canceled due to several leaks in the roof of The One Ball facility on Tuesday. The exhibition game will not be rescheduled.

The cancellation was made out of an abundance of caution for player safety after rainwater leaked onto the basketball court shortly after the start of the contest. An alternate court in the facility was also deemed to be unsafe.

The Bears were originally expected to play Vanves GPSO on Tuesday prior to making a schedule change. Cal’s games against Spirou Basket in Charleroi, Belgium on Aug. 18 and Bayer Giants Leverkusen in Leverkusen, Germany on Aug. 20 remain as scheduled.
