Six Blazers named to NABC Honors Court


KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches recognized six Hood College student-athletes when the NABC announced its 2021-22 Honors Court. 

The Blazers earning the honor for the 2021-22 season include:

The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate student men’s basketball players who finished the 2021-22 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Over 2,000 players from over 300 programs were named to the NABC Academic Honors Court. 

Hood’s six recipients helped lead the Blazers to one of the best seasons in program history in 2021-22. The Blazers won 20 games, won the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth Championship and advanced to the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Wang twins both earned all-region honors, while Mason was named an All-American by the NABC.
