Dyson Daniels admits he would love to play with Josh Giddey

When asked by Black Sports Online’s Daniel Bell on his thoughts about potentially playing with fellow Aussie and current Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey, 2022 draft prospect Dyson Daniels said he would love the opportunity to do so during the draft combine.

“I’d love to play with Josh as well. Whether it’s the right fit or not, I’d prefer to be in a place that’s going to be the right fit for me,” said Daniels. “Whether that’s OKC or not, I’m not sure. Hopefully one day I’ll get to play with Josh for sure.”

Giddey mentioned during his exit interview that he would love to play with Daniels, but said he’s going to embrace whoever the Thunder bring in.

Daniels spent this past season with the G League Ignite, where he averaged 11.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 14 games during the showcase. Daniels will most likely be a lottery pick and could potentially be there at 12th overall for the Thunder.
