Social media has a lot to say about De’Anthony Melton, Dillon Brooks

The Memphis Grizzlies lost to the Golden State Warriors on Monday to fall behind 3-1 in the NBA Western Conference semifinal series. The loss of Ja Morant was evident.

However, the most puzzling decision was Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins’ usage of De’Anthony Melton, the former USC Trojans star.

Melton finished the game with just nine minutes, the lowest among all Memphis players who touched the floor and the only one in single digits.

Yet, somehow, Dillon Brooks played 39 minutes despite a 5-19 shooting clip from the field. In turn, social media was quick to torch the Grizzlies for this decision, and after losing by just three points to the Dubs, it hurts even more.

DILLON BROOKS NEEDS TO GO

This was a common theme during the game and after.
