NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors dropping another road loss vs. Wizards

Despite not having players like Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma, the Washington Wizards landed an opening haymaker on the Golden State Warriors during Sunday afternoon’s tilt in the nation’s capital.

Red-hot 3-point shooting helped the Wizards surge to an early lead that stretched out all the way to an 18 point advantage. While the Warriors were able to cut the Wizards’ lead down to eight by halftime, it wasn’t enough to build a comeback.

The Warriors had no answer for Corey Kispert on Sunday. On the way to scoring 25 points, the Gonzaga product buried six triples on nine attempts from beyond the arc. As a team, the Wizards hit 16 3-pointers on 28 attempts from long distance.

On the other end of the floor, the Warriors went cold from deep, shooting 8-of-33 on 3-point attempts. With five made 3-pointers, Klay Thompson was the only player on the Warriors to notch more than one triple on Sunday.
