WEST POINT, N.Y. – Following the Army West Point Women’s Lacrosse game at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, the Army West Point Athletic Association will host the first-ever leadHER Field Day presented by Amazon.
The event, which is being held as an extension of National Girls and Women in Sports Day (Feb. 2), will give young girls the opportunity to connect with a variety of different athletics teams at Army West Point. Participants will also be exposed to the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields (STEM), as representatives from Amazon and numerous departments from the United States Military Academy will be in attendance.
Girls and boys in sixth grade and under are encouraged to participate in the Field Day, located at West Point’s Foley Center. Check-in begins once the game between the Black Knights and the Eagles ends…
