SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – After an impressive career for the Pioneers, senior forward Elle Jo Whalen (Woodinville, Wash./Woodinville) will represent Smith College at the New England Women’s Basketball (NEWBA) Senior All-Star Game, which will be held on Sunday, March 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Springfield College. Spectators are welcome to attend.
Whalen, an Economics/Statistical & Data Science major, was an instrumental member of Smith’s success over the past four seasons as the Woodinville, Washington native started 65 of the 105 games she played in while wearing a Smith College uniform. Over the course of her four years with the Pioneers, Whalen played an average of 21.9 minutes per game, while also producing 5.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.
