The Eastern Washington Eagles and the Northern Colorado Bears are set to clash at 10 p.m. ET March 10 at Idaho Central Arena in the second round of the Big Sky Conference Tourney. Eastern Washington should still be riding high after a win, while the Bears will be looking to right the ship.
The Eagles earned some postseason bragging rights after a successful outing on Wednesday. They skirted past the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks 78-75. Eastern Washington got their victory on the backs of several key players, and it was forward Linton Acliese III out in front picking up 20 points in addition to six rebounds.
Speaking of close games: Northern Colorado was close but no cigar on Saturday as they fell 87-85 to the Montana State Bobcats.
