Casanueva, Reavis earn All-UAA honors

WALTHAM, Mass. – Brandeis University women’s basketball senior Camila Casanueva of Santa Barbara, California, has been named a second-team All-University Athletic Association for the third season in a row. Junior teammate Emma Reavis of Miami, Oklahoma, earned All-UAA honorable mention.

Casanueva becomes the first Judge to earned first- or second-team All-UAA women’s basketball honors in three-straight seasons since Jessica Chapin ’10 did so from 2008 to 2010. Casanueva led the Judges in scoring, averaging 12.9 points per game this season, 10th-best in the conference. She was also second on the team in rebounding (5.3 rpg), assists (3.0 apg) and steals (0.9 spg). She also led the UAA in free-throw percentage (88.0%) and was third in 3-pointers (50) and fifth in 3-point percentage (36.8%). Her 3-point percentage was 56th among Division III players.
