As the UNC basketball program continues to navigate this 2021-22 season with their NCAA Tournament hopes on the line, the future of the program is also in the spotlight.
While we donβt know all the departures just yet, itβs expected that UNC is set to lose some key players from the roster for next season. But they do welcome in a 2022 recruiting class that features four players including Will Shaver who is on campus now.
One of those players in 2022 is four-star guard Seth Trimble, a Wisconsin prospect that has had a big final year atΒ Menomonee Falls. Heβs also UNCβs highest-ranked prospect in the 2022 class and should be able to compete for a starting spot.
In the 2023 class, UNC has five-star guard Simeon Wilcher committed as well, as they hope to pair the duo together in the backcourt for the future.
