The Illinois State Redbirds have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. Illinois State and the Indiana State Sycamores will face off in a Missouri Valley battle at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday at Hulman Center. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
The Redbirds came out on top in a nail-biter against the Valparaiso Beacons on Wednesday, sneaking past 78-75. Guard Antonio Reeves took over for Illinois State, finishing with 34 points (a whopping 44% of their total). Reeves had some trouble finding his footing against the Southern Illinois Salukis on Saturday, so this was a step in the right direction.
