Only a handful of players this season have had a four-game stretch like Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz guard Wade Baldwin IV is currently riding. Baldwin, one of the hottest players in the competition, has overcome a bit of a slower start to turn into Baskonia’s top scorer as the team attempts to make a run and join playoff contention.
Only two players have scored more total points than Baldwin since Round 17, and both of them – AS Monaco duo of Mike James and Donatas Motiejunas – played one game more than the Baskonia guard. Baldwin’s average of 21.3 points since Round 17 is the most by any player in that span.
After helping lead FC Bayern Munich to a historic playoff berth last season by averaging 15.3 points and 4.0 assists, Baldwin did not find his footing right away this season with Baskonia.
