The Idaho Vandals will be returning home after a four-game road trip. Idaho and the Northern Colorado Bears will face off in a Big Sky battle at 9 p.m. ET Thursday at ICCU Arena. The Vandals have been on the wrong side of a one-way rivalry with Northern Colorado and are hoping to record their first victory since Feb. 9 of 2017.
Idaho was close but no cigar on Monday as they fell 74-72 to the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.
Meanwhile, Northern Colorado entered their contest against the Sacramento State Hornets two weeks ago without any home losses — but there’s a first time for everything. Northern Colorado lost to Sacramento State at home by a decisive 85-71 margin. What made the loss an especially bitter pill for the Bears to swallow was that they had been favored by 11.5 points coming into the matchup….
